This is our very first inaugural basketball shot in Sierra Lodge, shortly after putting up the hoops. Pastor Ed Kang challenged Pastor Manny to a 1-on-1 match to see who would get the glory of having made the very first shot. The following is the first of many memories that will be made in that court in Sierra Lodge.

I think history will tell us that the very first miss and the very first basket are the most memorable and talked about stories. But just to make sure it happens, disgracepoint has helped put this event into the annals of gracepoint. Even Pastor Manny can't exaggerate or explain away this one. Thanks!

Haha...this reminds me of the beginning of Andy's message at SWS last week.
What's sad is that this momentous moment may overshadow a more momentous moment, where Pastor Timothy, Pastor Manny and I beat Steve Suh, Rick Yi and Daniel Kim in the first three on three match at Sierra Lodge. It was a sight to see.
Wow. Pastor Ed. Your athleticism continues to surprise me. I remember a video I saw of some of the staff at Sierra house. Pastor Manny was showing off his archery skills by (say this part slowly) completely missing the target. Pastor Ed walks up, aims carefully, and hits the target dead on. Wow is all I can say.
